Welcome to 828 Nation. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.828nation.com and the 828 Nation mobile application (collectively, the “Services”), operated by 828 Nation LLC (“828 Nation,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. By using 828 Nation, you represent and warrant that:

  • You meet the age requirement

  • You are legally capable of entering into this agreement

  • You will comply with all applicable laws

828 Nation is a social connection platform. It is not a dating service and does not guarantee relationships, friendships, outcomes, or connections of any kind.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account using an email address and password.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information

  • Keep your login credentials secure

  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access

You are solely responsible for all activity conducted through your account.

3. User Content & Responsibility

A. User Content

Users may post, upload, share, and exchange content, including messages, photos, videos, and text (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your content, but you grant 828 Nation a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, display, and distribute User Content solely for operating the Services.

B. Responsibility for Content

You are entirely responsible for your User Content and conduct.

828 Nation:

  • Does not endorse user opinions, statements, or behavior

  • Is not responsible for User Content

  • Does not monitor content in real time

Any views or actions expressed by users do not represent those of 828 Nation LLC.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Violate any law or regulation

  • Harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse others

  • Post hate speech, explicit sexual content, or violent material

  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

  • Engage in fraud, scams, or deceptive practices

  • Upload malware, spyware, or harmful code

  • Collect or misuse other users’ data

Violation of these rules may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination.

5. Messaging, Interaction & Offline Activity

Users may communicate and interact with one another through the Services.

You acknowledge and agree:

  • Interactions may involve risk

  • 828 Nation does not screen or verify users beyond basic verification

  • Any offline interactions or events occur at your own risk

828 Nation is not responsible for user conduct, interactions, or outcomes—online or offline.

6. Reporting & Moderation

Users may block or report others for inappropriate behavior.

828 Nation reserves the right—but not the obligation—to:

  • Review reported content

  • Remove or restrict access to content or accounts

  • Investigate violations of these Terms

We may cooperate with law enforcement or legal authorities when required by law.

7. No Professional Advice

The Services do not provide legal, medical, psychological, or professional advice. Any information or interactions on the platform are for general social purposes only.

8. Third-Party Services & Links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, services, or partners.

828 Nation:

  • Does not control third parties

  • Is not responsible for third-party content or practices

  • Does not endorse third-party offerings

Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or pose a risk to the community or platform.

You may stop using the Services at any time.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 828 Nation disclaims all warranties, including:

  • Fitness for a particular purpose

  • Accuracy or reliability of content

  • Uninterrupted or error-free service

We do not guarantee any specific outcomes, connections, or experiences.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

828 Nation LLC shall not be liable for:

  • User conduct or User Content

  • Emotional distress or personal injury

  • Lost profits, data loss, or reputational harm

  • Offline interactions or events

In no event shall our total liability exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid to us (if any), whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 828 Nation LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Services

  • Your User Content

  • Your violation of these Terms or any law

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in courts located in Texas.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
